L-R Georgia (2), Florence (7 & 1/2), her litter brother Rory & Bruce (11)

We first discovered Pooch and Mutt at Paws in the Park, September 2009.

Florence was 3 weeks pregnant with Georgia and her 3 litter mates when she was first given Mobile Bones. Smallest puppy was 12oz and the the other 3 including Georgia weighed in at just over a pound.

Last September Florence at 7 & a half competed at the South East Carriage Trials, at Bronze level. This entails passing an obedience test to show how the dog works with the horse and carriage and then followed by a six mile cross country course to be completed within 80 minutes. Before being allowed to compete the dogs have to pass a veterinary inspection and once the course is completed a second inspection to check the dogs are ok.

Florence came 2nd in her class but won the prize for best condition dog awarded by the vet. She was the eldest dog competing by 3 years. Rory competed back in 2009 and also came 2nd in class. Georgia started training at the end of September and already covers 8 miles with ease and fit enough to go further.

All four dogs are fed Mobile Bones daily which we add to their raw meat and veg diet (BARF). Florence has qualified for Crufts next year from a veteran class and Georgia who competes more often has also qualified for next year.

All four have KC Good Citizen awards, 3 with Gold and 1 with Silver, and competed at obedience open shows and they have all been show dogs at some point.

The photo above (taken by Jeff Jones) was our prize for Florence winning best conditioned dog at the trials and we received a large Canvas print of it.
