Ben: Springer with stiff joints

Posted in Joint stiffness, Mobile Bones, Old Age, Spaniel

Springer spaniel with stiff jointsI give Mobile Bones to my Springer who is getting on in years (aren’t we all) and he bounds around like a puppy. Since he started taking it – he has never once winced when getting up – used to be bad in the mornings – but no troubles at all now.

We’d been using Mobile Bones for about two weeks when we noticed a difference in him – after 4 weeks we realised he didn’t whince when he got up in the mornings – and he’s been on it ever since.

Purdey: Underweight rescue Cockerpoo

Posted in Bionic Biotic, Poodle, Rescue, Spaniel, Weight & Condition

underweight cockerpooWe got Purdey in January 2011, she came as a rescue from the Dogstrust as a 9 month old Cockerpoo (cocker spaniel x standard poodle).

When we got her she was underweight and had dry skin. We wanted to get her as healthy as possible whilst she was still young and growing, a friend who is a vet nurse recommended Bionic Biotic.

Tess: Limping Sprocker

Posted in Joint stiffness, Mobile Bones, Spaniel

Tess is 2 years 9 months old and is a Sprocker (springer spaniel x cocker spaniel).

When she was a 1-year-old it was discovered that the bone in her elbow had not fused together properly causing her to limp at times. She had an operation in which a screw was fitted into her elbow.

Indi: Spaniel coat and digestion

Posted in Bionic Biotic, Digestion, Skin & Coat, Spaniel

Spaniel glossy coatFurther to my conversation with you last week regarding Bionic Biotic for dogs, here is a photo of Indi showing her beautiful coat, enhanced greatly by Bionic Biotic.

I initially started using Bionic Biotic for a gut problem. It has helped greatly with the digestion and solid stool problems, I am also delighted with the glossy coat.

Deefur: Cokerpoo Runny Stools

Posted in Bionic Biotic, Poodle, Runny stools, Spaniel

dog with runny stoolsOur Cockerpoo* Deefur is now 8 months old and he had very soft poo since we got him.

We tried the usual remedies and one very expensive trip to the vet, then I found Bionic Biotic on the net.

We noticed a difference just after his first week. He is now just on to his second packet.

Cavalier with runny stools

Posted in Bionic Biotic, Cavalier, Runny stools, Spaniel

cavalier with runny stoolsWe chose Pooch & Mutt’s Bionic Biotic after doing a search on the internet for something to help with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Toffy’s delicate stomach.

She is just coming up to a year old and has had frequent bouts of runny stools, on one such occasion it cost us £300 at the vets just for investigations, which showed no obvious cause.

Meg: a border collie x springer with stiff legs

collie - glucosamine for dogs

Having an energetic Border Collie X Springer is a joy!

Meg was 9 weeks old when we rescued her from a local rescue centre in Biggin Hill, Kent, in September 2002. A little ball of black and white fluff running around, she settled into family life very well.

Missi: Spaniel with Stiff Joints

spaniel with stiff joints

“I just wanted to say that the Pooch & Mutt Mobile Bones has been like a miracle for Missi my 11 year old english cocker spaniel’s life.

12 months ago Missi jumped out of the bath and hurt her back, she was put on Metacam, which at the time was a blessing as she had become stiff and slow, it helped but after about 10 months taking it daily she was sick black one day then her poo’s were black, she then started having fits, she had 3 out of hour consults in one weekend, the last one she had to be admitted and put on drips as she nearly died, she was really poorly, in fact we prepared ourselves for the worst, she nearly died in my arms.

Lab x Springer: Elbow Discomfort

Posted in Hip /Elbow Discomfort, Labrador, Mobile Bones, Spaniel

Millie: Labrador x Springer with Elbow Discomfort

“My lovely chocolate lab x springer puppy, Millie, was starting to struggle whenever she rested after a big walk.

After the usual trips to the vet, along with x-rays and scans, it was confirmed she had a double elbow discomfort.

Keeping her quiet in the house was a challenge enough but on walks was heartbreaking!

We were at a game fair and saw the stall for Mobile Bones (joint supplement) – and thank goodness we stopped!
