Henry: Boxer with stiff joints

Posted in Boxer, Joint stiffness, Mobile Bones, Old Age

boxer with stiff jointsI found Pooch and Mutt products at the 2008 Blenheim Palace Game Fair and bought both Bionic Biotic and Mobile Bones for Nell, a Springer Spaniel, now in the great dog ‘running-about field in the sky’.

I had previous good experience of Blue Chip Feed Balancer for Horses, which is a brand connected with the Pooch & Mutt products (by parentage I gather!). (more…)

Pomeranians: Coat and Mobility

Posted in Bionic Biotic, Mobile Bones, Old Age, Pomeranian, Skin & Coat

Pomeranian coat supplementI have 12 Pomeranians and they all have Bionic Biotic and some have Mobile Bones.

One good thing about that it is one supplement will not cause problems with the other one they are very compatible when fed together. I show some of the dogs and the others are either mums or oldies just enjoying life.

To a Pomeranian their coat is their crowning glory and without the correct texture they can look awful. Feeding the dogs Bionic Biotic gives my dogs that extra wow factor and even the old girls that are just enjoying life have a wonderful coat. (more…)

Gizmo & Mr Chin: Pekingese with skin and mobility problems

Posted in Bionic Biotic, Itching and scratching, Joint stiffness, Mobile Bones, Pekingese

pekingese with mobility and skin problemsWe have 2 Pekingese dogs Gizmo 7 and Mr Chin 4 years, both are now fine but they are on Pooch and Mutt’s Mobile Bones and Bionic Biotic for their problems.

Gizmo had a slipped disk 2 years ago and was dragging his back legs, so the vet said complete rest in a cage might help him recover. After 6 weeks cage rest we put him on your Mobile Bones, and within days we saw an improvement. (more…)

Caspar: Lurcher with Arthritis

Posted in Bionic Biotic, Digestion, Joint stiffness, Lurcher, Mobile Bones

lurcher with arthritisI found out about Mobile Bones through a recommendation by a fellow member of the forum associated with “Southern Lurcher Rescue”.

She said how it had worked wonders for one of her dogs, who was younger than my Caspar, but had similar Arthritis problems, so I thought I’d give it a go. (more…)

Vincent: Rescue Lurcher with hip problems

Posted in Hip /Elbow Discomfort, Lurcher, Mobile Bones

lurcher with hip dysplasia I am a trustee & foster dog carer for Rotherham Dog Rescue,a small local charity run by volunteers.

In September we took in a very underweight young male lurcher around 8-10 months old from the dog pound whom we named Vincent.

We noticed he was walking quite awkwardly with his hindquarters swinging out to one side & he was very reluctant to run. I took him home to stay with my dogs with view to taking him to the vet for an xray. (more…)

Hudson: Labrador with Stiff Joints

Posted in Joint stiffness, Labrador, Mobile Bones

labrador with stiff jointsHudson is an 11 year old Labrador (pictured with Alfie, a miniature wired haired Daschund aged 5).

I was recommended Mobile Bones by a friend with a similar aged Labrador.

Hudson’s limbs have become stiff, but since starting him on Mobile Bones a month ago we have seen signs that his mobility is improving and so plan to continue with this product. (more…)

Sam: Border Collie with Stiff Joints

Posted in Collie, Joint stiffness, Mobile Bones by poochandmutt.com
Dec 21 2011

border collie with stiff jointsSam is a 10-year-old Border Collie.

He hurt his back playing with a small dog and the vet said he had hurt a disc in his spine. He was treated with prescription medicine and improved but I was worried about the effects the drugs may have on his digestion.

He had been on glucosamine joint supplement like me as we are both getting older.

I tried some Mobile Bones and took him off the very expensive medicine from the vets.

Jade & Paj: Dobermans with stiff joints

Posted in Doberman, Joint stiffness, Mobile Bones

dobermans with joint problemsThese are our 2 Dobermans, Paj and Jade. Paj is nearly 12 years old and Jade is 8 & 1/2 years old.

We have recently started giving them Mobile Bones.  Jade has had both cruciate ligaments done and now Paj has arthritis.

Up until recently both dogs had been taking Prevacox, quite a strong anti-inflamatory drug, which taken over a long period can cause problems internally.

Minnie: Cockerpoo hip dislocation

Posted in Cockerpoo, Dislocation, Joint stiffness, Mobile Bones

cockerpoo with stiff jointsI thought I would drop you a line just to tell you how much our dog has improved since she started on Mobile Bones.

Minnie is a 15 month old cock-a-poo, who up until 10 weeks ago could have been mistaken as a Greyhound as she just loved to run everywhere. She suffered a hip dislocation on her right leg, and following several attempts to put it back in it just came back out again.

Dalmatians: Mobility

L-R Georgia (2), Florence (7 & 1/2), her litter brother Rory & Bruce (11)

We first discovered Pooch and Mutt at Paws in the Park, September 2009.

Florence was 3 weeks pregnant with Georgia and her 3 litter mates when she was first given Mobile Bones. Smallest puppy was 12oz and the the other 3 including Georgia weighed in at just over a pound.

Last September Florence at 7 & a half competed at the South East Carriage Trials, at Bronze level. This entails passing an obedience test to show how the dog works with the horse and carriage and then followed by a six mile cross country course to be completed within 80 minutes. Before being allowed to compete the dogs have to pass a veterinary inspection and once the course is completed a second inspection to check the dogs are ok.
