Hobo before

“Hobo was brought into The Mayhew Animal Home in early December 2009. His front legs were tightly bound with parcel tape and the smell emanating from his legs was quite horrendous.

He was immediately anesthetized and had the crude dressings removed. Underneath were discovered rotting cloths and tea towels. (more…)

Lester: Springer Spaniel / Skin & Coat

springer spaniel skin & coat

“Lester our rescued Springer Spaniel aged 13 years 10 months used to have dry, flakey skin and a dull, lifeless coat.

His get-up-and -go had all but gone and he had no time for social interaction with Tag our 5 year old Springer.

I found Bionic Biotic whilst researching pet supplements and what a difference 4 months has made.

Collies: Coat & Joints

All of Sue Sharlow’s Collies are fed on Bionic Biotic for their coat, two also have Mobile Bones for their joints.

“I would just like to say what a difference your supplements have made to my dogs. I have 4 dogs border collies ranging from 11 yrs to 9 months old.
I have them all on the Bionic Biotic and it really has made a difference to there coats. Even though there was nothing wrong with their coats it has made them a lot more silky and manageable.

“We adopted our two year old terrier x Murphy in December from a rescue centre. In the first month of having Murphy he had a really bad coat, constantly scratched and a quite often an upset stomach.
We started him on Bionic Biotic and within 3 weeks he had improved so much.
Three months on he has a beautiful coat and no longer suffers with his stomach.

Gatherin Flashback: Scottish Terrier, coat

scottish terrier

“This dog had his top coat stripped completely off for a new coat to grow in.

I used the Bionic Bionic just as a conditioner. look at the quality of the coat and the shine!

Of course the dog is a very good dog anyway and he was 1st & RCACS at our Club Championships from 17 in his class.

His quality of coat condition has produced remarks from all who see him.

I do use Bionic Bionic on other dogs and had two who were really bad – one had not a hair left on her back – but stupid as i am i did not take the photos!!! But the product worked again and both have good quality coats.

I also used it on Luce pre-mating, through pregnancy and while nursing. Again the quality of the coat defies belief!

Many thanks and regards.”

Rescue Spanish Galgo

Wesley: Rescue Spanish Galgo

Jenny’s Email 11/08/09

Dear Pooch & Mutt,

I have recently applied to adopt a Spanish Galgo (Wesley) from PAWS-PATAS recue centre in Murcia, Spain. This poor old boy (estimated to be 12/13 years old) was abandonned outside the centre (tied to the bumper of a member of staff’s car) 5 weeks ago.

He was in an appalling state of neglect.

The staff at PAWS have been dedicated to helping this old boy recover, giving him daily baths until he could at long last come out of solitary confinement, and start to live again!

He still has to do another 6 months at the rescue centre to get his Pet Passport, when he can travel to Scotland to live with us. Although I cannot help him with ‘hands on’ care at the moment, I would like to send him something to help his coat and general health improve as quickly as possible.

I have used Bionic Biotic on my own dogs and am very pleased with the result, so Bionic Biotic would be my first choice for this poor Galgo. I was wondering if you would be kind enough to consider donating a bag of Bionic Biotic which I could forward to PAWS in Spain to see if it helps this old boy. If it did then I would keep up his supply until he joins my family early next year.

Many thanks,

Jenny Spence (Mrs)

This was taken shortly after he arrived at PAWS – you can see the red rawness of his skin…..the poor dog must have been so uncomfortable!

These were taken recently after he had been given daily baths for 3 weeks. Looking better in that his skin doesn’t look so sore – but still in an awful state.

Here’s hoping that Bionic Biotic can speed up his recovery and give him a new lease of life!!

Hi Pooch & Mutt,
I Thought that you might like an update on Wesley the Galgo, for whom you kindly donated a bag of Bionic Biotic.

He is still at Paws-Patas in Murcia, doing his quarantine (finishes in February) – as you can see by the photos he has regained his health and is looking so well and happy!
What a difference to how he was when he was abandonned at Paws, 3 months ago!

With his glossy coat and shiny eyes it looks like the Bionic Biotic has definitely helped in his recovery!!

Kind regards,
Jenny Spence (Mrs)

Weimaraners: Digestion

Oskar & Elise: Weimaraners with Digestive Trouble & Dandruff

“I can really recommend Pooch & Mutt’s Bionic Biotic.

Oskar is our two year old Weimaraner and Elsie is our 9 to 11 year old rescue Weimaraner.

Oskar has a troubled digestive systems caused by irresponsible vaccination and a vet recommended commercial food early on in his life. This regularly manifested itself in loose stools and several movements during the walk. Since he has had Bionic Biotic the change is amazing.

He now has only one to two movements with firm ‘pellets’. Never had that with him before…. He still has his days but that is completely outweigh to what we used to have. His coat is so much shinier, no more dandruff and all in all I think it helps him to absorb the nutrients from his food better as he put on a bit of weight (which is a good thing).

I tried a lot of different supplements and the difference was clearly noticeable with this one in a matter of two weeks.

Elsie is also on it and her coat improved amazingly. She used to shed a lot of hair and also had dandruff. Her coat now looks lush and shiny. She also had some sore spots on her elbows of which one has disappeared almost completely and the other one would if she would spot licking it…

I Highly recommend Bionic Biotic to anybody that has dog with a dodgy tummy (apart from when allergies to any ingredient exist or a special vet diet is in place).

Thank you for making this fabulous product and helping our two beautiful Weimaraners.”

Collie: Rescue

Tweed: Rescue Border Collie

“Hello, I am Tweed, a nearly 3 years old Border Collie.
When I was rescued from a coal shed 3 months ago my new owners did not realise I had any white bits!
I was in a bit of a state, to say the least, but I have scrubbed up quite well and my coat, which was very dry, is now shiny and silky with a bit of a wave coming in down my back.
I get a lot of compliments, which I love.
I am fed Bionic Biotic, apparently, and this seems to be doing the trick.
All I know is, it tastes nice, I eat it all up with the rest of my food, and my new shiny coat is no longer so itchy.
Also- a delicate matter- er indoors seems to think my “you know what” is firmer, making it easier to pick up. So, I seem to be doing well as a Bionic dog.”
Love from Tweed

Jack Russels: IBS & Scratching

Posted in Digestion, Jack Russell, Skin & Coat, bionic biotic, runnystools, testimonials

Percy & Widget:

Jack Russel x – scratching

Parson Jack Russel – digestion

“I Just wanted to say that following the sample of Bionic Biotic both our dogs are doing brilliantly, so we invested in a large bag.

Attached is a photo of both Widget (left) and Percy (right).

Widget is a 10 year old Jack Russell X. She has had a lot of problems with obsessive, compulsive disorder one of which is to scratch a lot if she gets at all stressed. We have tried her on all sorts of therapies from the Vet including steroids to stop the scratching. In hot weather she is normally worse. She scratches to the point that she will make herself bleed. Since we’ve had her on the Bionic Biotic, the scratching seems to have calmed down a lot and we are not being kept awake at night by a constant thud, thud, thud as she scratches her way into oblivion! I can’t say that its calmed any of her other peculiar habits but at least the scratching is at a minimum and we are now getting a good night’s sleep. She has been on your Bionic Biotic during the current heat-wave and normally she would be scratching like mad but she has been fine apart from the odd minor outbreak of normally doggie scratching.

Percy is a 4 year-old Parson Jack Russell. Percy’s main aim in life is to eat as much food as he possibly can, as quickly as he can as often as he can and then some. Unfortunately not all foodstuffs suit Percy. It has been a bit of a battle over the last four years to try and find something that stops Percy from having irritable bowels (incl daily outbreaks of runny stools) and very bad flatulence (called DFF’s – dog food **rts in our house). Percy has been known to clear a room when he’s had an attack of “wind”. We tried him on the Bionic Biotic and within 3-4 days, it was the first time in his life that his bowels weren’t irritable. Also his “wind” problem has gone away much to the pleasure of a lot of our visitors. As soon as he was no longer taking the Bionic Biotic (whilst we were awaiting the arrival of the full sized bag) he was back to square one, but once this arrived within 3-4 days again things were better again. It hasn’t lessened his appetite though!

So 10 out of 10 for Percy and the scratching has stopped for Widget – so as you can imagine we are very pleased.

Hurrah for Pooch and Mutt!! And you can catch up with The Jack Pack’s antics on my website www.woolhunter.com”

Thanks
Jan Henley
